When I check the news these days there often is no news at all except moves to prevent effects, or the effects of this Covid-19 virus. But the world has not stood still, the actions to combat the virus itself is changing the world, and also it is changing the dynamics of ongoing political processes. What if God saw whatever foolishness caused this virus, and let if happen in His time, then chose to let play out His way? We can't know, but if this virus pushes events towards fulfilling an expected end, we begin to wonder.

In relation to the Corona Virus going about the globe with just enough infectivity without symptoms to be hard to trace and just enough morbidity to cause a dramatic collapse in a nation's health care system, Governments, not knowing where the virus is, have ordered people to stay home. As the world struggles to control this new virus, new research has emerged regarding images of micro droplets emitted while speaking, that remain suspended in the air for hours. What is amazing is that the Bible references the intimacy of sharing micro-droplets and Social Distancing.

One thing that should strike someone reading the Bible is how interactive the God of the Bible is; right from the beginning and to the end. So did something change? What if it didn’t? Corona Virus Covid-19 with its higher-than-flu death rate, has raised serious questions of faith, from Iranian Islamic rejectionism to South Korean ‘faith-healing’ super spreaders, to the fundamental questions why does God allow evil?

Much of the evil of the world is caused by humans who have rejected God. It seems a core characteristic of the world, something natural, that Godless fools inherit their own foolishness, which destroys themselves.

The January 31 Brexit date enters British history without much history. Bloody history, or as my father taught me to read in the King James Version of the Bible more elegantly 'history of blood', however is splashed all over January 30: on that day the Parliament beheaded King Charles I.

There are many layers to evidence based trust, which is faith: one of which is fulfilled prophecy. Brexit delivered more witness to faith, as to the direction of events, than I expected. It was in political terms akin to the Exodus, with political plagues.

Based on Bible prophecy in the days of the uncertainty of PM May's 'Deal' I wrote to then lead figures in Britain's Parliament that, “Britain will leave the EU. Britain will trade with all, not just the EU. The Bible labelled the merchant successor to Ancient Tyre a 'Harlot'- after 70 years of being stultified you are called to go about 'the city' and 'sing' (Isaiah 23).. and nationally sell yourselves!”

The Palestinians seem to have no knowledge or understanding of the events that followed the ending of WW1. Palestine, so named by the Romans to destroy the association of the land to Israel, had been a part of the Turkish Ottoman Empire and the land had been down trodden hundreds of years by many invaders.
