4) Evidence of Beings with Remarkable Powers

These beings, called 'Mighty Ones', did not cease communications. The best source of detailed extra-terrestrial sightings is in the Bible. It contains a record of many sightings of extraterrestrial life over a period of more than 4000 years. (All dates are approximate)

• 2200 BC at Babel these beings “came down” and confused language (Genesis 11:5-7).

• 1910BC in Canaan (modern Israel) an Egyptian woman named Hagar, fleeing from what she saw as harsh treatment, is found by a 'messenger' who tells her to go back home. The messenger also says her son will be called Ishmael and his descendants would be a multitude. Hagar calls the messenger 'Mighty' (Hebrew El) as so awesome was the experience, she wondered how she could see afterwards.

• 1912 BC In Canaan a being suddenly appears to Abraham. According to the compiler of the Bible this being, who looks like a human, speaks for He Who Will Be, makes promises and gives the covenant of circumcision. At the end of the conversation Abraham witnesses the being ascend defying gravity (Genesis 17:1-22).

• 1897 BC three beings that look like men and speak for He Who Will Be suddenly appear to Abraham at lunch time. He washes their feet and they eat food he prepares including meat. They say his wife Sarah is going to have a son and then as they leave they say they are going down the hill to see how wicked Sodom is. Abraham walks with them for a bit. Two leave to walk into Sodom. That evening Lot (Abraham's nephew) meets those two. Lot also feeds them and they eat. In the riot afterwards they make those at Lot's door blind. They also take the hands of Lot, his wife and the daughters and transport them bodily out of Sodom in the morning.

• 1760BC Jacob at Bethel on his journey to his uncle's family at night dreams he sees these beings ascending and descending on a structure that reached vertically into heaven (the Hebrew 'sullam' means to 'exalt' or to 'raise up'). They ascend and then descend. Jacob thinks that this is the spot where these, messengers (or as he calls them 'Mighty Ones') leave and enter the earth. The point is this witness understands they were on the earth at the first. (Genesis 28)

• 1739BC when Jacob returns to cross the Jordan before he meets his brother Esau a large group of extraterrestrial beings appear. So many that Jacob calls them an 'army'. He knows they are messengers of these Mighty Ones (Hebrew Elohim). It is recorded that Jacob wrestles all night with one of them and he damages Jacob's leg so he limps (Genesis 32),

• Jacob sees these Mighty Ones (Elohim) again at Bethel. They make a promise on behalf of He Who Will Be to Jacob and ascend '“go up” (Hebrew alah) or from his sight (Genesis 35:13).

• 1492 BC at Mt Horeb in Sinai, Moses gives a first hand account. The sighting is a voice from a bush that is on fire but not burnt. Moses is afraid to look on Elohim who has “come down” indicating that they habitually live in the heavens. This sighting is significant for this begins the well known episode where the Israelites leave Egypt. According to Moses, who was alone at the time, this Extraterrestrial intelligence told him what to do. Moses was no fool and asks for proof he can take with him to show he has experienced this, as who would believe an extraterrestrial had spoken to him? Moses is given a staff that turns into a serpent, then back to a staff.

• 1452BC Balaam on a journey to curse Israel is hurt when his donkey refuses to go forward, then sees a being carrying a sword who has suddenly appeared who speaks to him (Numbers 22:31).

• 1452BC Joshua going out to look at Jericho looks up and sees a being carrying a sword has appeared. He asks him if he is for the Israelites or their adversaries. The being replies he is captain of the army of He Who Will Be. He then says Joshua is to take off his shoes as the ground is sacred ground. After this instructions are given from He Who Will Be on how to destroy Jericho.

• 1323BC Gideon has a conversation with a Messenger who gives him encouragement to begin to fight oppression and causes fire to come out of a rock then suddenly disappears. (Judges 6:11-22).

• 1220BC Manoah, and his wife had no child. A messenger appeared to the wife, announcing the birth of Sampson. Manoah's wife then describes what she saw.

his countenance was like ..a messenger of God, very terrible

The man with the 'terrible' face vanished but appeared again. Manoah sees him also the second time. The messenger says his name is secret. Then,

the messenger did wondrously... For it came to be, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the messenger of He who will be ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground. But the messenger of He Who will Be did no more appear.. (Judges 13:2-21)

This is an account of a being who looks like a human, except with a face diffused with a different energy, with powers beyond human capability. This vertical ascension is consistent with earlier accounts.

• 1048BC Kind David and a group of reliable witnesses at the threshing floor of Oran the Jebusite in Jerusalem saw a being they knew was the Messenger of He who will be Heb Yahweh suspended in mid air with a sword (1Chron 21:15-16). (2Samuel 24:16-17).

• 846BC Elisha shows his servant that the mountain is full of otherwise invisible horses and chariots of fire round about himself. (2Kings 6:17)

  Elisha prayed, and said, “He who will be, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see”. And He who will be opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

  And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto He Who Will Be, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha. (2Kings 6:17-18)

  This is the first time there is witness of a vehicle. Not just one but many. They are not Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), as they are said to be 'chariots'. We can note that to an ancient person that the flying chariots seemed ablaze, so bright that it seemed like a fire.

• 520 BC Zechariah sees a man he calls a 'messenger' who shows him some amazing visions and talks with him. He then sees other 'messengers' who speak to him and each other. He also sees a in vision four chariots with horses, but they are not flaming chariots, and they are clearly symbolic.

• After 561BC in Dura a Province of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar sees not only Hananiah. Mishael and Azariah in his furnace but a 4^th man. And none of them are burnt by the furnace. (Daniel 3)

• 536 BC Daniel sees in vision on one like the appearance of a man who shows him the future of his people and the international struggles of the next 400 years..
