Faith is not some feel good thing, as the writer to the Hebrews shows it is based on the evidence of observation of all true things. Therefore observational empirical science of the movement of the things in the heavens (as opposed to theory) can be faith building.
In the Bible portion we read recently Joshua command the sun and moon to stand still.
Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel. (Joshua 10:12-14)
This event seems referenced in the deliverance prophesied in Habakkuk 3, where the sun and moon are to stand still.
Many can tie themselves in knots in trying to theorise how this may happen, as the modern mind boggles that the earth stopped spinning for a day, and the moon did not move in relation to the earth or sun. One might suggest refraction of light, but that too poses the issue of a significant change in the atmosphere. We cannot say because it has not been observed by us or others we know, or by science that it was not observed as recorded. Unless a matter is a routine or repeating occurrence, we cannot know as all records of observation rely on the truthfulness of those observing the phenomena. Establishing the veracity of this historic miracle, and the likelihood of it occurring in the future depends on the fact of the existence of a great power of the Universe capable of bending the 'rules' and for that evidence we can lean on repeatable observation here and now!
We just saw a dark blood red moon on the night of Wednesday 26 May 2021 as the earth moved between the sun and the moon so shading the moon and refracting the longer wavelength red light about the earth. Thanks to God the sky was cloudless where I was and I saw the black eclipsing and then the dark red covering the bright disk of the moon with my eyes. Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) had announced Tuesday 25 that to keep observation and communication satellites in orbit longer it has developed an artificial intelligence system. Their design with computer artificial intelligence (based on human intelligence),
extends the life of satellites deployed into orbit by detecting irregularities in the satellite’s operations.

So what keeps the moon, the earths satellite in its slightly irregular orbit, if a human made satellite benefits by artificial intelligence?
He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down. (Psalm 104:19)

There is a reason for the specific movement of the sun and moon, which could not be the result of chance. When Joseph was blessed by Moses he mentioned the observed blessings of the sun and moon,
Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath, And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, (Deut 33:13-14)
The moon has a specific function in tides which are the heath of the waterways, not just in increasing plant growth on land overnight.
Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass. (Psa 148:3-6)
What is curious is that it is Israel Aerospace that points out this scientific fact of the need to tweak orbits through the application of intelligence, just as much of the world is shown a blood red supermoon to gaze at and ponder, while considering the right of Israel to exist as a nation due to Hamas' violence!
Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. (Jeremiah 31:35-36)
We may have confidence that the amazing breaking of the scientific rules of the earth and moon as satellites at the founding of the nation of Israel actually happened as recorded in the Bible- because Israel exists now, a miraculous fact we can verify by observation. We may have faith that the sun and moon might appear to stand still for a day, because we can observe the absolute daily miracle of the moon as a wobbling satellite of the earth, because observation practical science of the real world proves nothing stays in orbit without energy and it takes intelligence to keep it in orbit, let alone keep it in orbit perpetually. Then we might consider the order found in the planets and the stars.
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. (1 Cor 15:41)
