In our previous post we noted Trump's positive relationship with the Miracle of Brexit is a factor in why he will win the US presidency. But there is another mirrored relationship that the God of the Bible spoke of: the relationship with India.
India was never some impoverished slave to the colonial British. We explore the great colonial ages of India's Kingdom here. India was the Jewel in the Crown of the British Empire due to it's strength. The British did not have a higher standard of cleanliness or architecture than India. The British came to trade with the already existing ancient historic trade of India.
India and Britain are such ancient places of trade they were both mentioned in the Bible as places that the Merchants of Tarshish, trading out of ancient Tyre, visited. One place called Tarshish was accessed from Joppa, and was the most distant place beyond the Mediterranean trading in tin which matches to Britain. The other Tarshish was accessed from the South zion Geber and traded in gold, apes and Peacocks. We see many reasons, including the ancient presence of Jewish traders, that this Tarshish is India.
For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks. (2Chron 9:21)
India, like Britain
India, like Britain, has been without global power for precisely 70 years, since 1949. The Merchants of Tarshish of ancient Tyre walked with their “own feet” (Isaiah 23:7) from place to place, until in the latter days (the time of Israel's restoration) they became based in Britain and India.
It shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot. Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; sing many songs, that thou may be remembered. And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth. (Isaiah 23:15-17)
India, like Britain, has suffered from stultifying socialism and weakness for the last 70 years.
This US election is seen as crucial to India's future success in trade.

An add by Trump directed to Indians in America gained over 10 million views. This continues policy that favours India, beginning with Trump speaking Hindi in his 2016 campaign.
India not China: India vs China
At this point India is actually at war with China. Though Trump has been linked to China, his heart is not there.
By contrast Joe Biden has many times publicly defended China's encroachments into American trade ('China is going to eat our lunch?' c'mon man), and his family has subsequently been shown to have benefited by business relationships with those connected to the Chinese Communist Party.
But what is of interest is that the Democrat pick for Vice president, Kamala Harris is half Indian. This draws our attention to the role of India, yet she has a complicated connection to India,
The California senator has not visited India since her mother died 11 years ago. Indian diaspora’s initial euphoria over the nomination of a candidate of Indian heritage is slowly giving way to skepticism about Harris’ so-called “ethnic allegiance” to India.
Harris, on the other hand, has criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for abrogating Article 370 that removed Kashmir’s special autonomous status, or the Citizenship Amendment Act which provides a route to Indian citizenship to minorities in three Muslim countries, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Kashmir
China has chosen to intervene in Kashmir, and India and China are now at war there. But rather than the dramatic move to all out war, the war has intensified as a trade war. India alone can not win that trade war.
As nothing is said of China in the action of Bible prophecy of the latter days, as if they were an irrelevant force, we would expert that they do not become the dominant world power.
Also to fit the patterns of prophecy regarding the Merchants of Tarshish we expect the US president would favour trade with India, which is ancient Tarshish, rather than China.
Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? (Ezekiel 38:13)

So persistent are the rumours that “Trump is better than Biden for India” that the Washington Post has had to defuse the idea on September 10, 2020
Indeed, at the strategic level, U.S.-India ties appear to have been spared much of the damage Washington’s foreign relations have sustained with other traditional partners and allies under the Trump administration. Substantive cooperation has flourished, particularly in the defense and intelligence realms.
But the belief that a Joe Biden-led Democratic administration would threaten this progress — a perception that has garnered headlines in India and reportedly generated unease in Delhi — is a myth. washingtonpost
The Washington Post then argues from Biden's history that he favoured India, when America favoured India, after emerging from the Cold War. Yet Biden also supported anti-Indian Islamic pressures in 1992.

Some cite Biden's support for the Visa programs, yet this makes Indians cheap slaves to American tech companies, rather than building their own tech- which would be of more benefit to both nations. The point of the matter is not what humans think but what God thinks. Indians in India, just as Jews in Israel may see more clearly the matter than Jews or Indians in America.

India's (new) Relationship to Israel the Key
What is remarkable about India is that during its era of socialist economic eclipse it became shadowed by communist Russia. All this time in the shadow the Bible Student may have looked back to the time India was allied with Britain in magnificence in wonder, as if events were heading against what was expected of Bible prophecy! Yet once again after the 70 prophectic years of Isaiah are up, amazingly, we find the Islamic elements in India are cast in the shade, and India brings its relationship with Israel into the open. Indians fought at Gallipoli, which paved the way for the establishment of Israel and their modern history parallels that of Israel. At the very same time the relationship with Israel emerges, India seeks a relationship with America. Due to China's expansion efforts, India begins to seek an alliance also with Australia and Japan.

Foreign Policy 10 Sept. 2020 sourly observes, “The India-Israel Alliance Is a Model for Illiberal Populists.” Democracy is popular rule, its known weakness. But God controls the Spirit, Ruach, of the age, to achieve His Plans.
As prophecy indicates the India-Israel relationship is to prosper, one would expect that the US president and Adminstration would continue to develop the new emerging pattern where India is favoured over China.
As events have once again after 70 years have brought India into a strong relationship with the English speaking traders who carry on the traditions of Tyre, we can identify latter day Tarshish with the modern English speaking traders, who are in alliance with India and trade with India. As all signs point to the fact we are in these latter days, we note that at this time Trump with the best relationship with Zion and India will be given Power to shape the world, as it written that there is to be a special relationship between the Ships of Tarshish and Zion, that of being the first to honour the Holy One of Israel.
Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows? Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee. (Isaiah 60:8-9)
