When Y’shua was asked what commandments were important he replied as follows:
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love Yahweh thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:36-40)
For the Jewish people the First Commandment was very explicit. Yahweh Elohim was the Creator and an all powerful God who demanded respect and obedience. They were to worship no other god.
I am Yahweh thy Elohim, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:2-6)
The Founding Fathers of the US wanted the nation to be established with the rights to freedom of worship that in previous ages, people had been deprived of. The Jews and Protestants are the outstanding examples of persecution for millennia. They were driven out of nations and forced to seek new places where they could live in safety. The Constitution provided for the freedom of worship and was designated as “One nation under God”. It is now we see the rise of a faction in the US planning to destroy this foundation on which the nation was built as a refuge for Christian and Jew, and to create a society based on Communistic ideals and to eliminate the knowledge of the nation’s history and all knowledge of and rights to worship God. The Republicans are frequently heard as saying that this foundation is an important and “Priceless Heritage.”
As the month of May draws to a close, I am amazed at the vindictive speech that is now hitting the screen against Trump. That Trump won by a landslide should by now be obvious as the Biden admin. sinks deeper and deeper into debt and world wide criticism. As they attempt to overturn every one of Trump’s improvements to life in the US, one can only be amazed at the ignorance and stubborn attitudes of the misguided and the blindness of those who still support Biden.
When Trump stepped down in January, I frequently heard the cry that he should have done something to prove that the election had been stolen. Why didn’t he call on the military for help? As the days progressed I was convinced that Trump had made the right decision. Week by week the new leaders displayed their incompetence to rule and consistently fell into the traps of their own conniving. At the same time I realised that Trump faced a hard task to prove the real results of the election as so many forms of theft had been used and in such an enormous volume, and even foreign collusion. The nation had to actually see how these people were in the process of destroying the US, a process that had been in operation for many decades. The outcome was to be the destruction of the people, the Constitution, their rights and their submission to a Godless and communistic regime. The Democrats wanted an insurrection to continue their hate campaign against Trump, but that was not in Trump’s plan.
Now the days of July are drawing to a close, and the days since May have created many restless and unhappy people wondering about the fitness of their country’s leader to rule. and some with a clearer awareness of how, for decades, they had been beguiled by a hidden power that had infiltrated into every aspect of their lives and robbed them for years. Not only that, they were ruthless and were letting nothing stand in their way by the use of monetary bribes, blackmail, lies, even murders and covid to change society into submission to the government that they wanted.
But I believe that Trump will be vindicated and the evil that these leaders have perpetrated for decades will be exposed. As I have written before, Joseph in Egypt was reinstated and raised to a powerful position as a ruler in Egypt, and ultimately saved the Egyptians and also his own family, Israel. Likewise Mordecai was saved from the gallows of Haman to be raised to save the nation of Israel in captivity in Media Persia . I believe that there is every possibility that Trump will be elevated to the position again that will allow Yahweh the God of Israel to save the faithful in the US to escape the evil intents being displayed by unscrupulous self appointed leaders who would destroy the hopes of Jew and Gentile to worship the God of Israel . This revelation of the plans of the Democrats will be revealed and the evil and corruption that has been perpetrated by them to achieve their goals.
There is another aspect of their attitude and their behaviour that does not fit with Biblical principles and is an abomination in the sight of the Creator. The faithful Jews and Christians have also Biblical precepts to uphold and these relate to abominable practices. When Israel entered the Promised Land, their Homeland, they were given commandments related to the cleansing of the land and which were repeated many times. Yahweh promised to drive out the inhabitants of the land before them because of their idolatry.
I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee. I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee. By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land. (Exodus 23:27-30)
Then Israel were given clear instructions and a warning.
And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee. (Exodus 23:31-33)
Israel had to remember how soon they had failed to remember Yahweh’s blessings in taking them from their slavery in Egypt and forgotten the miracles they had seen in the wilderness.
Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst Yahweh thy Elohim to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.
Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you. When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water: And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which Yahweh spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. (Deuteronomy 9:7-10)
Unfortunately the temptation to worship other gods became a continuing failure of the Israelites. Remember Solomon, their wise king and his many wives.
Solomon loved Yahweh, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar. (I Kings 3:3-4)
Solomon showed all the signs of following David’s faith and dedication but he had a weakness as we read in chapter 1 Kings 12:
But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; Of the nations concerning which yahweh said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his Elohim, as was the heart of David his father. (I Kings 11:1-4)
After having all the advantages that he had and his early wisdom, Solomon fell victim to idolatry.
Many warnings had been given to the nation, especially of the need to drive out the evil from the land. If they did not do so they woulld become thorns in their sides, and a corrupting influence.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places: And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: ….. But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. (Numbers 33:51-55)
Other kings went further in their idolatrous practices. Consider Ahaz whose actions reveal a sinister frame of mind and reflected some of the rituals of these nations.
Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of Yahweh his Elohim, like David his father. But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom Yahweh cast out from before the children of Israel. And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree. (II Kings 16:2-4)
The extent of idolatory is captured in the accounts of events relating to the Assyrian invasion of Israel.
The king of Assyria when he had invaded Israel brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel And so it was at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they did not fear Yahweh.
The king was requested to send one of the Priests to teach them about the God of the land..
Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land. (II Kings 17:24-26 KJV)
Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land. Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Beth–el, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.
It is here we have descriptions of the gods of these nations and their practices
Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made...burning their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim. (II Kings 17:27-31)
In the prophecies of Jeremiah and Ezekiel we see the culmination of the influence of the destructive practices of the idolatrous nations. It ultimately led to the Babylonian invasion and captivity, the desolation of the land and the scattering of the people
Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD: Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them; (Ezekiel 16:35-36)
We have here not just gods of stone and wood, but practices described that we would believe to be unimaginable. In our modern world would we envisage such practices? With all our knowledge and amazing comforts today could people turn to such abominable acts? Unfortunately there are serious implications in these quotations that apply not only to the USA, but world wide. We all know that Trump had great difficulty in Building the Wall to keep the country safe from the illegals including criminals and drug cartels entering. As well as this children came in large numbers and often unaccompanied. Within the USA many children disappeared and Trump had private conference with distraught parents. It was one of his earliest tasks to find the answer to the disappearance of children. As the Democrats started to reverse Trump’s reforms one of the earliest was to open the country once again to illegals, which once again has created problems. I have no doubts that the truth of the issues of missing children will be revealed by Trump.
The situation now facing the patriots is one of the power of darkness against the power of Light. I have seen the Patriots in prayer to God in the Capitol, regularly on the web and heard their heart felt appeals to God to help them against the tyranny of the corrupt politicians, their anti- God agenda. and attempts abolish the Constitution. The Patriots are sincere and we believe that Yahweh hears the prayers of the faithful and we hope that Light over the evil will prevail. They express their dependence on God knowing that they need His help to rid the land of this evil. In this drama that is playing out there are three very important aspects of Yahweh’s purpose with this earth.
A threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12)
In the USA there has been respect for Jews and Christians. In Trump we have a lifelong connection to Jews with his parents and his father Fred Trump, who built housing for Holocaust survivors, gave them land for a Synagogue and built them a hospital ($1 a year rent) in Brooklyn. Trump has maintained a life long support for the faithful Jews. Trump respects the Constitution and its priceless Heritage and the need to maintain the belief in the Founding Fathers trust in the God of Israel and the principle “One nation under God”.There is a threefold cord. The Jews and Christians,and their enduring support of the nation of Israel that will continue to strengthen the state of Israel with faithful Jews dwelling safely on the mountains of Judaea (Ezek 38: 8,12,14) waiting for their Messiah and thousands of faithful Jews and Christians in the USA waiting for their Messiah Y’shua’s return to reign in power and with justice and righteousness from Jerusalem.
