Many may now understand better the blessing of Christ's justice. For months we have seen flag waving Patriots in their tens of thousands at Donald Trump’s rallies and in the past week in prayer in Washington pleading that they might be heard and that they be saved from a form of government that would destroy their country. These rallies are always peaceful and respect abounds among the crowds. They wait for hours and will stand quietly watching and waiting and then at the end of the rally when the plane takes off they watch until it it disappears into the distance, even if it is freezing cold. They then quietly disperse.
Among these Patriots there are fears expressed. Grandparents have fears for their grandchildren who would be subjected to an education that persuades them to turn against what for generations their families believed and that gave hope, purpose and confidence in their lives. They would have to defy parental standards. For workers jobs would be taken and given to others beyond their shores. Churches could close their doors to faith and meaning in people’s lives. History would have little meaning as it would be deleted from memory. Globalisation would rob the country of resources and opening wide the borders would welcome in anyone and anything undesirable. To the wise revolutionary policies of a socialistic nature are a signal of destruction of individual rights to worship and long held morality.
But what does the Word of wisdom advise? This was the word to Israel and it is just as relevant to the faithful today and understood by them. Should these rights be taken away?
Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Yahweh your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: That thou mightest fear the Yahweh thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Yahweh God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey. Hear, O Israel: The Yahweh our God is one Yahweh: And thou shalt love the Yahweh thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. (Deuteronomy 6:1-7
We have witnessed several days in which Patriots gathered to protest in the way the judicial bodies, State and Federal, refused to examine the evidence of abnormalities in the election, and they were told that there was ‘nothing to see’. There was plenty to see but it seems that they did not want to see it or hear the cries “Of the People”. Corruption abounded in all its forms and the Dominion (see ‘Dominion and Deceit’) voter machines were dismissed as having nothing to see. In fact there was plenty to be seen, as demonstrated in the media until it came under censorship by those who seek power and destroy the government. The election was not examined by those whose job it is to see justice done. The Patriots brought their message to Washington on 5th and 6th of January 2021. Their conduct was exemplary, with no violence but they revealed in one voice their enthusiasm and confidence as the Psalmist so frequently sought to God in prayer for help.
When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble. Have mercy upon me, O Yahweh; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death: (Psalms 9:12-13)
On the 6th January there appears to be interference from an unexpected source. The Democrats have sought to destroy Trump by every means they could over the past five years. They have not succeeded in doing so. But then something occurred that indicates that they may have again made a move that might hopefully lead to another failure to achieve their objective. While the Patriots waited outside the building in their usual peaceful manner, hoping the leaders would hear their voice, the protest according to some witneses was hijacked by Antifa and Black lives Matter (including one who boldy admits he was there among those leading the break through, merely to see it) who force a break into the Congress building causing mayhem, and, very oddly, some security parting to allow others to walk in. The question arises if this was another Democrat Biden and accomplices’ plot to with accusation destroy Trump and Stop the Steal campaign. But is this another scheme that might like Haman’s attempt to destroy Mordecai, turn against the Democrats and those who didn't seek the truth?
9th January
This article ceased to be written at this point when the gun shot rang out and was heard world wide. What has followed is world wide condemnation of Trump and vitriolic language pouring out against him in the media and accusing him of causing the situation now existing in the USA. The following quotation had been selected and will now be put forward as a hope for the next few days.
Consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death: That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. Yahweh is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever. Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah. (Psalms 9:15-20 )
The Psalmist gives us hope. May we also hope in Yahweh’s mercy
So many Psalms offer hope to the poor and needy and we will conclude with another prayer against those who would plot evil against those who seek justice.
When will there be true justice in this world? In the USA national justice has failed, because very few cases were heard, and none of any importance and the results were not audited properly and transparently. The people have expressed the hope of being heard, but the justice system failed through man’s lust for power. Isaiah gives us all the hope of a better government yet to come, but Yahweh will also hear our prayers and deliver the faithful in the hour of need.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. (Isaiah 9:7-8)
O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered. (Isaiah 33:2-3)
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. (Psalms 37:39-40)
