When President Obama made his inaugural speech to the United Nations on September 23 to map the direction he felt the world should take, he made the issue of Israel a key part of his 4 'pillars'. His aim is a divided Israel. But the final word on this issue is already written. Obama should know about this. He made his oath as President with his hand on that final word given on Israel.
When Obama was sworn in, it was noted that the Bible he used was the same as Abraham Lincoln used for his inauguration in 1861. This, if anything, brought to our attention that the Obama's binding oath of office was connected to that particular Bible.
It was an 1853 Oxford University Press edition, which is the King James translation, so we can know what it says.
But firstly a re-visit of Obama's key policy points from his speech to the United Nations.
The time has come to re-launch negotiations without preconditions that address the permanent status issues: security for Israelis and Palestinians, borders, refugees, and Jerusalem.....
But more progress is needed. We continue to call on Palestinians to end incitement against Israel, and we continue to emphasise that America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements....
And the goal is clear: two states living side-by-side in peace and security - a Jewish state of Israel, with true security for all Israelis; and a viable, independent Palestinian state with contiguous territory that ends the occupation that began in 1967, and realises the potential of the Palestinian people.
As we pursue this goal, we will also pursue peace between Israel and Lebanon, Israel and Syria, and a broader peace between Israel and its many neighbours. In pursuit of that goal, we will develop regional initiatives with multilateral participation, alongside bilateral negotiations.
Now, I am not naive. I know this will be difficult. But all of us - not just the Israelis and the Palestinians, but all of us - must decide whether we are serious about peace, or whether we will only lend it lip service...
The United States does Israel no favours when we fail to couple an unwavering commitment to its security with an insistence that Israel respect the legitimate claims and rights of the Palestinians...
We must remember that the greatest price of this conflict is not paid by us. It's not paid by politicians. It's paid by the Israeli girl in Sderot who closes her eyes in fear... by the Palestinian boy in Gaza who has no clean water and no country to call his own. These are all God's children.
And after all the politics and all the posturing, this is about the right of every human being to live with dignity and security. That is a lesson embedded in the three great faiths that call one small slice of Earth the Holy Land.
Obama says he is not naïve, but he may be ignorant.
These words show he is either ignoring, or ignorant of, the words said on this very issue in the Bible he swore his oath of office on.
Palestine (Palestina) is mentioned four times in the King James translation. It is not hidden information. Searchable texts of this translation are readily available for free. This is one of the four passages from the King James translation,
I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink. Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head; (Joel 3:2-4).
These words are more relevant today than in 1861, the era of Lincoln. In 1861 the Ottomans still controlled the place styled 'my land' by the God of the Bible. It is only since 1947 that nations have sought to partition the Holy Land. In dividing the land they are 'casting lots' for the people that God calls 'my people'. Look at who is singled out: Tyre and Sidon (Sour and Saida in South Lebanon are the centres of Hezbullah influence) and Palestine. Can words that were old in 1861 be relevant today? Does Palestine (and their allies in South Lebanon) want to render Israel a recompense? They have since 1967.
Whereas Obama from wishful thinking calls “on Palestinians to end incitement against Israel”, which they have no intention of doing, Joel deals with the real issue. Obama misses the fact that the struggle over the Holy Land is a struggle between religions. Joel points out those in South Lebanon and in Palestine will continue fighting Israel's re-possession the the Holy Land in an attempt to de-legitimise the Jewish God, but that Israel's God will pay them back.
Obama speaks of the Israeli girl in Sderot living without fear and the Palestinian boy in Gaza having clean water, but a much more sweeping claim has already been spoken. The poor shall be fed and the needy shall be given security. But the answer for security of the poor and needy in the book that Obama rested his hand when he swore his oath of office is not to make a nation called Palestine, but rather to kill the root of it (the agitators for violence), send a nation from the North to slay the remnant that hate Israel and dissolve it!
Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent. And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and he shall slay thy remnant. Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times. What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it. (Isaiah 14:29-32)
The answer to this issue is already written in the book Obama held when he took office. The answer to the current cycle of violence is that the LORD founded Zion.
Obama speaks of “all God's children”. In the Bible all humans are the children of God, being sons of Adam. But in the Bible the children of Israel are the firstborn. From the text of the Bible Obama held,
And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn. (Exodus 4:22-23)
The firstborn son in most cultures inherits the father's land. In this case the father's land is the one that Obama calls the 'Holy Land'.
Which brings us to the “legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements” and the “legitimacy of claims and rights of Palestinians”. Obama showed ignorance on two fronts on this point. Research will establish that the only international law relating to Jewish settlement dates back to the era of the British Mandate of Palestine (including Transjordan) and actually granted Jews the right to settle Palestine West of the Jordan river (see the American, Eugene W. Rostow's comment Eugene W. Rostow also Freeman Center For Strategic Studies, Auerbach for Midstream)
In addition the book Obama put his hand on says this regarding the Jewish people,
Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. (Ezekiel 11:16-17)
It does not say 'I will give them a bit of the Holy Land', it says God will give them the whole land of Israel. Israel included Samaria. Samaria is in what many people call the “West Bank”. There are many references to Israel regathered, but there is one which is to the point. Ezekiel speaking of the Jews in diaspora wrote that his God said,
And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. (Ezekiel 34:13-14)
The mountains of Israel are the place that Israelis are now settling. The intent of Obama's speech at the UN was in direct opposition the clear statement in the book that he made his presidential oath on! There is more said about Israel on those mountains. Ezekiel writes he was told,
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: (Ezekiel 37:21-22)
It was written that Israel, after being regathered as the Nation of Israel, will not only possess all of the the mountains of Israel, but will possess them in security and safety. It says there will come a time when, remarkably, Israel will live on its mountains and won't need walls or gates, such as the recently constructed great concrete wall security fence.
In the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them...
And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. (Ezekiel 38:8, 11-12)
Whereas Obama says peace and security will come if Palestinians are given a small bit of the mountains of the “one small slice of Earth”, the book he put his hand on says Israel will only have peace and security when they possess all of the mountains of Israel. Before Gaza was given to the Palestinians people could be forgiven for thinking that giving some land to Palestinians might increase peace. But Palestinian rulership of Gaza has not resulted in greater security for Israel, or the world which has seen many riots, but rather less peace. When Israel has secure rulership of all the mountains of Israel there will be an increase in peace in the region. It's not a matter of opinion any more, Gaza is evidence. Obama, in pursuing a 2 state solution, ignores both the facts of recent history and shows ignorance of the words written upon which he put his hand.
Obama speaks of the potential of the Palestinian people but the last word has already been written on the potential of the Palestinian people.
And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets. Behold, the Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire. Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited. And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines (Palestinians).
And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah...and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. (Zechariah 9:3-9)
This says that after Tyre (southern Lebanon) is cast out by the Lord, the blood will be taken out of the mouth of the Palestinians (the violence that they preach), and those that remain will not be against the God of Israel but for him, and will even become rulers in Judah. The king, or ruler, will perish in Gaza, and the king that comes to Jerusalem shall reign over an undivided city and the Zionists will rejoice. This is a one state solution. It is the only solution that will bring peace.
Obama is convicted by his own words,
we must decide whether we are serious about peace, or whether we will only lend it lip service...
President Obama will no doubt speak many more words on Israel. But his words will be mere rhetoric, yes, mere “lip service”. It seems Obama is ignorant that the last words on Israel, Palestine and peace in the Middle East have already been spoken. They were written down and Obama held them in his hand on the day he was inaugurated. But Obama held Lincoln's Bible with the pages closed. When George Washington and later Lincoln swore their oaths, the Bible was open and they kissed its pages.

We were asked what early documents establish that Rosh of Ezekiel 38 is Russia. The answer is in 2 parts, as we explain the trajectory from fulfilled prophecy in history to prophecy yet to be fulfilled.
The Revelation 12 Sign
There is much written about the sun, moon and planets aligning on in September 2017. We have many reasons for suspecting that 2017 will be a prophetically significant year, and the time of the Jewish feast of Sukkot could be more significant than any other time, but we need to understand the scripture before we consider the stars.
There is a great sense that the British are about to sail on the winds of change, and cast off the European shackles which have reduced trade and it's competitive edge. There is a reason why it's 'now', as it is spoken of in the Bible.
As the world becomes focussed on Israel and Jerusalem, with even nations leaders who remote from Israel having an opinion, we might consider that it is said that those who touch Jerusalem, touch God's eye.
