1) History of Israel

The Bible gives a detailed history of Israel, the people, their strengths and failures, genealogies, invasions of Israel by other nations, prophecies the Psalms and more. The following quotation reveals the destiny of Israel and other nations.(Genesis 12:1-12)”

“Now Yahweh said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: .. Abram, his family and the people “they had gotten in Haran;” went into the land of Canaan; and and went on to Sichem, where Yahweh again appeared unto Abram, and’ said, Unto thy seed will I give this land. ... And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth. (Genesis 12:1-12)

The blessing and cursing is directed at all mankind. These promises were also made to Isaac, Abrahams’ son and his grandson Jacob.

Daily we are seeing on the news the devastation of Israel by the barbaric Hamas terrorists and the response of Israel at this declaration of a war which was begun by Hamas with its cruelty on the old, the women, the children and babies with indescribable acts of violence. We are also seeing world wide condemnation of Israel. For what? For fighting for its survival as a nation and save its people? The Bible clearly gives Yahweh’s condemnation on those who would invade his land:

Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Yahweh: Thus saith the Lord Yahweh; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession: Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord Yahweh; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: (Ezekiel 36:1-3)

And Western nations still think that a Two State Solution to take another part of Israeli land on the mountains will be the answer to the problem (Final Solution). There have been numerous prophecies about the mountains of Samaria and Judea in the latter days. It is “written” that Israel will dwell on those mountains when they have been gathered from dispersion among the nations in the last days.

We are seeing an attempt at a repetition of the holocaust that saw the death of six million Jews by the Nazis during World War 11. Many Jews who survived then fled from Europe and sought refuge in countries such as the USA and Australia where they led peaceable lives and enriched those countries with their contributions in law, medicine ,science and technology. There are facts that have been ignored in the history or deliberately hidden in the matter of the Jews and the Arabs and the many attacks that Israel has endured from terrorists in its short return to its homeland..

Consider the truth about the Meaning of “Palestine” and What it Was.

There was no country called Palestine before AD135. Historic records reveal the name was created by the Romans with the attempt to destroy the Jews and any relationship of the Jews to Israel. The Romans were the last of the great ancient Empires to invade Israel and most of the Jews who survived the invasion and attacks by the Romans were scattered among the nations.

Palaestina was applied by the Roman Empire to Israel (AD135) to eradicate Jewish identification with Israel. Large Jewish communities existed in Jerusalem and Tiberius, but the land following AD 70 was subject to the domination of invaders: Arabs, Crusaders, Mamluks and the Ottoman(Turkish) Empire.

Before 1948 following 400 years of war and Ottoman neglect, Palestine was a downtrodden wasteland, with a poverty stricken population. In the 1800’s visitors to the land have vividly described the desolation that they witnessed :

Desolation as seen by 19th century visitors to Palestine:

1n 1835 Alphonse de Lamartine wrote that “Outside the city of Jerusalem we saw no living object, heard no living sound...a complete eternal silence reigns in the town, in the highways, in the country.”

In 1844 William Makepeace Thackeray wrote, “The district is quite deserted...you ride among what seem to be so many petrified waterfalls. We saw no animals...scarcely a dozen little birds in the whole course of the ride”.

In 1867 Mark Twain wrote: “A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace...hardly a tree or shrub anywhere....of all lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince...sorrowful and despondent”. Another described the land as “denuded, desertified, depopulated, barren, desolate wasteland”
