What does President Donald Trump stand holding a Bible in front of a burnt Church for?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, (Psalms 2:1-2)
We could well enquire why do the youth of today “rage” and “imagine a vain thing”. This quotation is taken out of context, but it aptly describes the rage of modern youth in many countries throughout the world today, shouting as they protest in their thousands, graffitiing and destroying in their rampages. In the USA for instance they are not deprived youth but in many cases they come from wealthy families and most young people have a comfortable lifestyle and have been endowed with every thing they have ever needed. They have been educated and have their electronic devices that keep in touch with the world and their friends and that would amaze their Great-Grandparents. They are blessed in this generation above all that have gone before it.
Is this the generation described in 2Timothy3?
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (II Timothy 3:1-4)
Many aspects of their behaviour are contained in this assessment of the “last days” but perhaps the final statements “lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;” are the most disturbing.Many other characteristics mentioned are also quite applicable. For over thirty years the youth have sought to bring changes. They wanted sexual freedoms and have fought to achieve what they believe are their rights and at the same time wanting to change laws that once provided a form of morality long accepted. They now want it all their own way. Man’s rights or humanism that allows man to do what is “right in his own eyes,” but what is worse they want to enforce what they see as their rights upon all.
Their plan to Destroy Trump
In collusion with the Democrats they want to see Trump unseated and defamed and to this end their protests are aimed. Today the Autonomous in Seattle have demanded these misguided people and followers to vote for Biden, which means the Democrat puppet.
To them Trump is seen as a danger to their plans. He stands for Law and Order, he wants to complete the Wall to keep the country safe and ensure safety from criminals and drugs, which would really upset these freedom seekers, and he wants the nation to be self sufficient and to grow the economy and jobs.
What Trump stands for
At his Inauguration he held two Bibles, one of which his mother had given him. He did not need to do this. His mother was from the Isle of Lewis in northern Scotland and had immigrated to the USA where she met and married Fred Trump. The Isle of Lewis was strictly Presbyterian and observed the Sabbath with no work or shops open on Sundays. She had been raised according to Biblical priciples.
Fred Trump, Donald Trump’s father, built housing for the Holocaust survivors, a Jewish hospital and gave them land for a synagogue in Brooklyn after WW2. There developed a lifetime association between the Jews and the Trumps.
In these two people we have strong influences that shaped Trump and can explain firstly his respect for Christianity and secondly for the Jews, especially the Zionist Jews and the nation of Israel. He has been a life long friend of the Jews and highly respected by many of them. He has a Jewish son-in- Law who is as a son to him and works with him in his endeavours to bring peace to Israel. Due to remarkable support for Jews in Israel, in Israel, a street in Jerusalem and a place on the Golan Heights, called Ramat Trump, have been named after Trump.
These two influences are witnesses. Christianity and Israel reflecting the image in Revelation 11 of the two witnesses. Trump supports the Freedom of worship for all.
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (Revelation of John 11:3-4)
Returning to 2 Timothy 3 “lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;” is a key to understanding the present situation in the USA.The concept of an all powerful Creator is probably beyond their understanding or their desire to acknowledge. They are preoccupied in their pleasures and most likely a love of drugs. Their desire for a communist type society is a reflection of the attempt to destroy all subjection to and knowledge of the Creator
If we turn back to Psalm 2 we come to the situation that the USA is facing in November 2020.
The opening of this Psalm is what the world will face. It is the desire to destroy all knowledge of the Creator and his Son Y’shua. Like the rebellious youth the nations want their freedoms, to “break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” In other words to deny and reject Yahweh, the God of Israel and basically declare that He does not exist.

Yahweh declares that his son Y’shua will reign from Mount Zion with power and great glory, and bring peace and justice to the earth and destroy those who do not submit to his rulership.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. (Psalms 2:4-12)
We must remember the days of Noah, the destruction of Sodom and the judgements that have come upon the nations throughout history.
The challenge for the USA is now before the people. Will they tolerate the violence, the godlessness, the pride, unthankfulness, disobedience and lack of respect? Will they sanction the rejection of the existence of the Creator?
Or will they choose Law and Order, respect for the Creator, the rights of all people to worship according to their faith, and the leadership of a man who works without any pay for the good of all its people and the safety of the nation?
I believe that many in the USA can rise to the challenge their nation is facing from the lawless.
