Joy in Heaven

10th April 2022, hej

There is joy in heaven at one sinner that repents. If only all sinners would repent to great joy in heaven!

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. (Luke 15:7)

Our Lord by speaking with authority of joy in heaven, swept aside a curtain to allow us to view the heavens as a place inhabited by beings with emotion. Most tend to act as if their own thinking and existence determines the full extent of reality. The view presented by Christ is consistent with what Job was told directly,

Who has laid the measures thereof, if thou know? or who has stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? (Job 38:5-7)

The making of this order of things was not soul-less unemotional activity – but instead was filled with emotion. As this order of creation had only just emerged after the measure was laid out, the joy was not about what was done already but that a beginning had been made on a grand plan for the glory of Yahweh Elohim to fill the earth. I as an architect know the great satisfaction (joy) when a dreamt plan resolves in the first action on site – as it anticipates the conclusion, which only occurs after what may be termed 'issues' on site.

Some seem to act as if they may do as they wish and God will be happy with them. But this is not the case. There is critical surveillance from those in Heaven,

“For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies,” saith the Lord Yahweh: “wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye!” (Ezekiel 18:32)

The Lord Yahweh has pleasure in his creation choosing right ways and just paths in life. And again,

“Say unto them, As I live,” saith the Lord Yahweh, “I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” (Ezekiel 33:11)

We are the building of Yahweh Elohim, the Almighty with Mighty Ones (Angels) who are united together in making and shaping the things in the world that matter, people who give glory to right and truth.

Everything is seen. We have been asked to be just in all business, not for the sake of good to us, but because it is a delight in heaven!

A false balance is abomination to Yahweh: but a just weight is his delight. (Proverbs 11:1)
A just weight and balance are the Yahweh's: all the weights of the bag are his work. (Proverbs 16:11)

This is the Glory of God. Our Creator loves that we make just standards, weights, measures, times and are equitable in all dealings.

Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight. (Proverbs 12:22)

In all personal relationships at every level, every word is heard in heaven. Prayers of the faithful are heard. Daniel was told all his words were heard.

Then said he (the Angel) unto me, “Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy Elohim (the Angels), thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.” (Daniel 10:12)

Christ maintained a very high standard and pointed out that those in Heaven are always listening,

That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. (Matthew 12:36-37)

But the Angels of Heaven that walk the earth are not listening to catch us out or to judge us, so much as to look for the signs we delight in the same things they delight in!

Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

When we find the truth of the knowledge of the Glory of the Kingdom, which gives joy in heaven, it is mirrored in being a joy to us,

the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man has found, he hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.(Mat 13:44)

Kings David was beloved because

Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. (Psalm 119:24)

The Apostle Paul agrees with David in his delight in the law.

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: (Romans 7:22)
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:18-19)

When the son of God, Y'shua (Yah shall save) was obedient by choice to his Father's will, he pleases his Father in Heaven,

Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. (Luke 3:21-22)

As the Son of God is obedient when speaking to Moses and Elijah, he is again declared a loved Son of God.

While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. (Luke 9:34-35)

When Yahweh Elohim was dealing with the crisis of the almost utter failure of the people He had made by deliverance brought out of Egypt, He revealed to Moses the plan that gives joy in Heaven repentance leading to forgiveness of sin and that the earth be filled with things that delight and give joy in Heaven.

“I have pardoned according to thy word: But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.” (Numbers 14:20-2)
