Where is the recent war with Iran prophesied? Some speak of Psalm 83, but this does not mention Iran, or Persia, as Iran is known in the Bible. Elam (South Iran) and Media (Medes of North Iran allied with Persians) deal treacherously (Isaiah 21:2) but there is a precise prophecy – no weapon formed against you!
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; (Isaiah 54:17)
The context of when Israel faces the weapon formed against them, is where Jews rebuild their desolate cites,
For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. (Isaiah 54:3)
If we have any doubt, this is when Israel is regathered
For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. (Isaiah 54:7)
The end of the regathering results, in two things – people gathering together against Yahweh's people and those people falling.
And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. (Isaiah 54:13-15)
In a time when Israel suffers terror – we are told there is a time afterwards when it shall no longer come near them. At a time the nations seek to oppress the Jews, we are told they shall not fear. At at time the nations gather together, as they do in the United Nations to condemn Israel, we are told that those nations shall fall – for Israel's sake. 'They', these people of many nations, including Iran, and Western leaders who allowed Iran to pursue a nuclear weapon under cover of a deal, gather with all intent on Israel's destruction – they shall all fall for Israel's sake.
How great is the fall? Let us see.
Iran's nuclear program, with an intent to destroy Israel began in the Iran Iraq war, not long after the 1979 revolution. According to the understanding of the Iranian version of Islam, when Israel is destroyed their Mahdi / prophet will come.
Behold- Yahweh says to us – I created someone to destroy the destroyer
Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. (Isaiah 54:16)
Consider what a weapon the second Trump term has been! Yahweh said 'go look I made the Goldsmith' to blow the 'fire' to bring forth this 'instrument', the US Trump led administration. This instrument is tasked as a destroyer.
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17)
When we read this, it is no longer a platitude, but the expression of over 40 years of history.
Already in 1981, ironically, with Iran's help Israel bombed a French Iraqi nuclear reactor.
Israel destroyed on Monday 23 June the Iranian Doomsday clock – it was built in 2015 when Ali Khamenei said that “Israel won’t last 25 years.”unitedwithisrael
One can only feel that it was to make a point, as, functionally, the clock was no threat.
Victor Davis Hansen, a political scholar, summarises,
The very idea, say, in October 2023, that 21 months later Israel would have destroyed Hamas; damaged the Houthis; dismantled the supposedly indestructible Hezbollah; helped create the momentum to collapse the entire Assad dynasty in Syria; seen Russia mostly ostracized and absent from the Middle East; destroyed utterly Iran’s air defenses; and been flying at will, systematically blowing up Iranian command and control personnel, its nuclear architecture, and its once dreaded missile fleet—would have been considered so unlikely as to be sheer fantasy. And that is well aside from the U.S. destroying what was left of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
Israel will emerge from this two-year nightmare with a much higher deterrent profile and respect.
Its chief danger will be hubris. Overconfidence led to the surprises of 1973. And hubris also led to 2023, 50 years later, to the very hour after being similarly shocked. Israel will likely be wary of its unprecedented success. zerohedge
So the 2025 Twelve Day War ends. It began Friday 13th of June, not long after the end of Shavuot on the 3rd of June after the time of wheat harvest, and giving of the Torah and the 10th of June ending the Six Day War and it ends Tuesday 24th June.
Israel is enough victorious - the destroyer is much destroyed.
Beware those who rise now to speak against Israel
