There is a great power of this long age, even modernity and Islam is not able to tame it. The Bible uses the analogy of an animal, a male beast with iron teeth – with a horn – one left of 10. For the males of the animal kingdom, the horn all is about power. The Bible also uses another analogy, that of a harlot.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matt 11:12)
Power of Darkness
When saying 'the violent take it by force', Y'shua Anointed (Jesus Christ) prefigures that John the Baptist is killed by Herod (Antipas) the Tetrarch, who with his wife Herodias ruled with the power of Rome. Herod had been educated in Rome, and held power via Caesar Augustus - the founder of the great Roman Empire.
This Roman Empire, was by analogy the iron teethed 10 horned beast that Daniel saw pushing and fighting its bloody way to be the great inheritor of Babylon's global power. When Y'shua is betrayed to the Judean power, led by Caiaphas the high priest, John records they spoke of chosing Roman's power (John 11:48). If they chose they were not, but they shouted out that they chose Caesar (John 19:15). Caesar appeared to have power – but all power is of Yahweh Elohim – even by permission - the Roman power of darkness. As Y'shua was to die at the hand of the collective subjection to Roman influence, and by the methods of the Romans, he said,
“When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” (Luke 22:53)
Y'shua's references to the violent taking the kingdom by force and the power of darkness, fit with another reference at Olivet:
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)” (Matthew 24:15)
The horned Beast of the night
Daniel spoke of Rome. Daniel was troubled greatly by being told of the great beast
“And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.” (Dan 8:12)
Y'shua surely had this in mind pointing to the detail of Daniel,
“And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.” (Daniel 8:25)
Even now we have the term Pax Romana – though all know it was achieved through oppression. Who reads Daniel let him understand that the time of long of this power of darkness that takes by violence the Kingdom. But we are told there is an end. Y'shua speaks to the Roman influenced Judeans,
“Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” (Matt 21:43)
In Titus' destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, Rome didn't take away Jewish rule - long before they had given it away. The Jewish leadership gave it away when they feared and valued Roman oppression more than their King Yahweh Elohim. The Herodians asked Y'shua
“Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?” (Mark 12:14)
Yes, they knew and had a choice. But then – and now it is the hour of the power of darkness.
Despite the reformation, Napoleon and Garibaldi and the incursions of Islam as predicted in Revelation 9, the rulers of the world still go to Rome. Rome is a 'see' through the power of money and influence of oppression. They are the long lived horn power.
King Charles of Great Britain even took the Anglican Church to Rome to pray, and sing (from the same hymn sheet even as reported by the BBC) a first in over 500 years. The Pope for the first time in history speaks North American. Notwithstanding, these facts there is the oppression of by influence, by being a 'benefactor' (Luke 22:25), the horn power, Pax Romana.
The Harlot and Mother of Harlots on the horned beast
There is also another image: that of a whore or harlot. It was written of Tarshish- as we here explain is Britain and the young Anglo world traders including America,
It shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot. (Isaiah 23:15)
King Charles is everywhere ecumenical, with Rabbis, Immans, Pastors and now the Pope. He has stated, “I hold myself bound to respect those who follow other spiritual paths, as well as those who seek to live their lives in accordance with secular ideals.” 2022 Royal.uk
To accept all faiths, is to be as in ancient Israel allowing the serving of other gods. They were accused of being harlots (Jeremiah 2:20,3:1,6). The Papacy themselves gave power to America, by selecting a pope from there- so again after the end of 70 years now they sing – as a whore, a leader of ecumenical 'any road is ok' harlots.
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Rev 17:4,5)
If the Anglicans go to Rome as a spiritual Harlot, being also in bed with Jews, Muslims and Hindus and the secular then Rome accepting such a daughter church in such company is also a whore, the mother of Harlots. The point of having doctrines is to agree on the standard of service. Elijah was zealous, and pointed out there could be no agreement. So Rome in purple and scarlet and gold fulfilled Revelation with King Charles, before our eyes.
Daniel marvelled at the power of the horned beast, John marvelled at the power of the woman on the horned beast.
And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (Revelation 17:7,18)
And there we see – indeed the great city which reigns over King Charles and many other leaders.
So we see the answer … as to why King Charles who leads the merchants goes to the Papacy,
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. (Revelation 18:3)
The merchants, tried to break with Rome, but could not keep separate. But power is not and has never been there. It is only an appearance of power in darkness of dark ages.
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: (Rev 19:1)
Or as Daniel is told,
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. (Dan 12:3)
Coming with Clouds in the Brightness of the Firmament
All appearance of power under heaven was ephemeral vanity. The real power of the great King all of the time, for all of history, if we see it was hidden in plain sight, in light! There are a multitude of people, so many as to be called 'clouds' … People who fear the beast of human nature look down in darkness, and never look up to the light to see them.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (Revelation 1:7)
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matthew 24:30)
Oh! yes, many will mourn - they may even speak of the 'right side of history'..
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-14)
