News Watch: Kazakhstan (Ukraine), hooks that bring Gog down

11th January 2022, hej

Many might be forgiven for thinking that Kazakhstan is not important for a lack of news coverage, but to Russia Kazakhstan is as important as Ukraine. One of the first deaths in cross fire was an Israeli, which reveals how significant Kazakhstan is to Israel. It cannot be hidden now, as a Biden connection is arrested for treason, but America clearly has a role there. How does it fit Bible prophecy?

For over a month Russia has been building up troops on Ukraine's border and threatening invasion unless NATO removes forces from near Russia's borders and gives up on making Ukraine a member. We look at the Background Ukraine, Poland-Belarus crisis.

Even the British Ambassador thinks US President Biden looks weak, threatening only ineffective sanctions.

Americans think Biden also looks weak knowing the famous impeachment issue over Trump's call allegedly seeking to investigate the Biden's Ukrainian connections

Russia’s Putin to NATO: Commit Suicide or Face All-Out War

Germany appears to be the West’s weak link the face of Russian pressure. On January 3, the German newspaper Bild reported that Scholz is seeking “a new beginning” in relations with Moscow. The Russian demands, which effectively require NATO to commit suicide, are so obviously outrageous and unmeetable that Western analysts are split over interpreting Russian President Vladimir Putin’s motives. Some say he is using the impossible list of demands as a pretext to invade Ukraine. Others think he is playing a weak hand to try to divide the West and reorder Europe’s security architecture in Russia’s favor.

The divisions in the West are evident as Germany is 'trying to turn EU into Fourth Reich' - Polish politician sparks fury with claim

As Germany is soft on Russia and the American position exceedingly weak, with Russian-backed Belarus pushing at the EU via Poland, it is highly unlikely that the events in Kazakhstan, which created for a moment a counter momentum, are not related.

Unlike most instances where there's crisis or conflicts near Russia's borders, the White House has been slow to respond to fast-moving events in Kazakhstan, only saying that it questions the "legitimacy" of the Kremlin sending troops. zerohedge

For it be 'legitimate' to ask for troops requires that there are foreign forces acting in Kazakhstan causing the burning of buildings and the attempted take-over. It is very suspicious that the US says nothing against the rioting and burning, as if they do not wish to disturb it, which would imply they support it. The leader targeted is a Russian ally, and it looks like other US backed 'colour revolutions', so it is suspicious when the allegation of US foreign interference is called 'Russian disinformation'.

On Wednesday press briefing Psaki said , "There are some crazy Russian claims about the US being behind this. Let me just use this opportunity to convey that as absolutely false, and clearly a part of the standard Russian disinformation playbook." zerohedge

It is known that Kazakhstan is important to Russia – and America! The following is a pro-west German view,

It’s the largest and richest former Soviet republic in Central Asia, which also has the closest ties with Moscow. Kazakhstan, along with Russia and Belarus, pushed for the creation of the EU-style Eurasian Economic Union in 2015, a prestige project for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Kazakhstan inherited the Baikonur spaceport from the Soviet Union, which Russia leases for $115 million (about €101 million) a year. A few Russian oil companies, as well as American ones, are active in resource-rich Kazakhstan. Russia is also involved in uranium mining in Kazakhstan and is hoping to soon build its first nuclear power plant in the country. Around 3.5 million ethnic Russians live in the northern provinces of Kazakhstan, out of a total population of around 19 million.

There is a widespread view that Putin could seize on the deployment of troops as an opportunity to expand Russian presence in Kazakhstan. Russia currently has no military bases in the country.

Fear of ‘color’ upheavals... the unrest in Kazakhstan is a nightmare for the Russian president. The Kremlin has called such events “color revolutions” - modeled on the 2003 Rose Revolution in Georgia and the Orange Revolution in Ukraine the following year - and accused the West of orchestrating them. The last successful uprising was in 2018 in Armenia, which has close ties with Russia. In Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko was able to hold on to power by force in 2020. israpundit

There can be no doubt that more than 3 dots make a line and that there has been a sustained US-backed push against Russian interests that goes back to the Cold War and the backing for the Polish 'Solidarity' movement, that did much to destabilise the USSR. If we have any doubt analysis from geopolitical commentator Clint Ehrlich has noted,

Russia conducts its Anti-Ballistic Missile testing at the Sary-Shagan test site within Kazakhstan. This is where ongoing development of the S-550 ABM system is occurring, one of the foundations of Russia's national security... Russia's nuclear fuel cycle is intimately linked to Kazakhstan. Russian-backed Uranium mining operations are active in the country. Uranium from Kazakhstan is enriched in Novouralsk, Russia and then returned to Kazakhstan for use in Chinese nuclear-fuel assemblies.

Collectively, these security interests make Kazakhstan a region that Russia is willing to stabilize with force. The 3,000 troops it has already committed are not the maximum it is willing to deploy. The biggest question is how the situation in Kazakhstan will affect the existing standoff between Russia and NATO over Ukraine.

.. NATO-Russia talks to resolve the crisis in Ukraine were set to begin next week. Yet, on their eve, the revolution against the government of Kazakhstan began. Russia perceives this to be an act of "hybrid war."..that perception is fueling a desire for revenge. From the Russian perspective, it is a two-pronged approach to regime change. First, Western-backed NGOs encourage large protests against an incumbent government. Second, armed provocateurs use the protests as cover to stage kinetic attacks. Moscow believes that this playbook was employed successfully in Ukraine to oust the Russian-aligned government in 2014. And it believes that the West unsuccessfully attempted to employ the same strategy to topple Russia's allies in Syria and Belarus...

In the year before the attempted revolution, the US National Endowment for democracy spent more than $1M in (Kazakhstan). The money went to PR campaigns against the government and training anti-government protesters. The Russians are convinced that NED is a front for the CIA...NED has taken over part of the CIA's mission. In 1986, the founder of NED, Carl Gershman, said the group was created because "[i]t would be terrible for democratic groups around the world to be seen as subsidized by the CIA." Today, instead of receiving CIA money, they receive NED money. In 1991, NED President Allen Weinstein said, "A lot of what we do today was done covertly 25 years ago by the CIA." He claimed that operating overtly via NED, rather than covertly through the CIA, made the risk of blowback "close to zero." The Russians witness overt US support for ousting pro-Russian governments, they assume there is also covert support being provided. To them, NED is only 1/2 of a "hybrid war" strategy in Kazakhstan that includes kinetic operations. Russia's Foreign Ministry.. describes the situation as "an attempt to undermine the security and integrity of the state by force, using trained and organized armed formations, that is inspired from the outside." This claim forms the predicate for intervention by the "Collective Security Treaty Organization," the Russian-led equivalent of NATO.

Activists from prior color revolutions are already publicly taking credit for what is happening in Kazakhstan. zerohedge

The possibility that the US backed NED funded NGOs were foreign intervention to overthrow a Russian ally President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in favour of a corrupt US ally is underlined by the news that Karim Massimov Kazakh Security Chief Arrested For Treason Was "Close Friends" With Bidens amid widespread fuel price unrest which quickly became aimed squarely at toppling Tokayav's rule there's a simultaneous power struggle within the government, Massimov had headed the National Security Committee (KNB) up until his Thursday sudden removal and detention. Massimov had served as the prior longtime strongman ruler Nursultan Nazarbayev's prime minister and has long been considered his "right hand man". Shortly after, a photo has resurfaced, currently subject of widespread speculation which shows Joe Biden and Hunter Biden posing with the now detained Kazakh security chief Karim Massimov, along with well-connected oligarch Kenes Rakishev.

Further an email and communications have surfaced, previously subject of extensive reporting in The Daily Mail, and related to prior extensive commentary and questions concerning Hunter's 'laptop from hell' - that appears to confirm that Hunter Biden and Massimov were "close friends". Reporting at the time indicated that "when Biden was vice president, Hunter worked as a go-between between for Rakishev from 2012 until 2014. And further the emails were from "anti-corruption campaigners" in Kazakhstan showing that Hunter made contact with Rakishev. And more: "Per the report, Hunter successfully got a $1million investment from Rakishev to a politically-connected filmmaker."

According to a 2020 article in The New York Post written when the photo first began gaining attention among Western pundits, "The snap, first published by a Kazakhstani anti-corruption website in 2019, follows last week’s bombshell Post exposés detailing Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings and a report claiming Rakishev paid the Biden scion as a go-between to broker US investments." Concerning his relationship with Kazakh oligarchs and power-brokers, the NYPost story had detailed further:

...Hunter Biden’s alleged work with Rakishev, claiming he dined regularly with the Kazakh businessman and attempted to facilitate investment for his cash in New York, Washington, DC, and a Nevada mining company.”

But Rakishev, who enjoys close ties to Kazakhstan’s kleptocratic former president, reportedly ran into trouble when Western business partners realized that the opaque origins of his reported $300 million fortune could become a “liability,” the Mail reported.

This brings up questions, starting with: What is the nature of the ties between the Biden family and Kazakhstan’s kleptocratic former president and his circle of oligarchs and powerful security officials?

The fact that the accused leader of the "color revolution" (or, at least, one of the major conspirators) has been connected to President Biden is therefore a veritable gift to Russia. The script writes itself to blame the U.S., true or false.

Whether the West actually instigated the crisis is quickly becoming irrelevant. The US response to Russia's intervention is already fraying bilateral relations, making it harder to imagine a positive outcome in upcoming talks to resolve the Ukraine standoff.

They believed that, if Russia intervened in Kazakhstan, it might not have enough troops to take action in Ukraine. Those hopes are rapidly being dashed. The force of 3,000 paratroopers and special forces that Russia has deployed to Kazakhstan already appears to have brought stability to the country.

If these oligarchs had seen Biden as a sure bet to step in and help them gain power, and Biden's team had seen these oligarchs as a way to both make money and push US interests including Ukraine, Russia's fast move and successful to stablise the situation would come as a severe blow.

Kazakh Leader Says Order Restored: "Coup" Thwarted

If indeed there had been high level targeted moves from the US elites to push at Russia since 1986 and if indeed they had had some success until they lost the Crimean half of Ukraine, and by pushing lost Belarus, and now again by pushing have lost Kazakhstan to Russian occupation we can see Bible prophecy play out. In relationship to Israel Russia is to the North and the American bases to the South in Arabia. Daniel is told,

And at the time of the end shall the king of the South push at him (the powers of the Middle East historically Ottoman Turkey): and the king of the North shall come against him (the king of the South/ Middle East) like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. (Daniel 11:40)

In the same pattern as used in Syria, the Great Power of the South in the form of America and its allies has pushed at Kazakhstan – but the ruler of the North is provoked to move troops in as they have in Syria. Ezekiel describes the process as hooks,

Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal: I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army.. all of them clothed with all sorts of armour..Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them...Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. (Ezekiel 38:2-7)

As Yahweh Elohim himself is to put hooks in the jaws of the face and mouth of Gog to bring him out, we know that whatever ideas of greatness Gog may have in fact the action is guided not by Gog but by God to meet God's purposes. It is highly unlikely Russia wanted at this time to send troops into Kazakhstan to be a guard to them, when they are focused on neutralising NATO in Ukraine.

But now being forced by 'hooks', Russia has moved its military forces South. Against Israel – Wait you may say! how?!

Israel has significant interest in Kazakhstan. Jewish media Haaretz noted

An Israeli man was killed in clashes in Kazakhstan on Friday, the day the country's president ordered forces to use lethal fire amid anti-government protests. The demonstrations, which began Januray 2 as a response to a fuel price hike have swelled into a broad movement against the government and ex-leader Nursultan Nazarbayev.

They also noted in lengthy detail

Amnesty International’s Security Lab confirms the four Kazakhstan phones were actually infected with Israeli NSO’s Pegasus software, just weeks after Apple alerted the victims to a ‘state-sponsored’ hack. who are critical of their government in Kazakhstan were found to have been infected with software developed by Israeli spyware firm NSO Group, a forensic analysis by Amnesty International’s Security Lab said Thursday. leak of 50,000 potential targets selected for possible snooping by NSO’s clients. Reports at the time said that up to 2,000 of them were linked to Kazakhstan, with potential targets including a former prime minister and current President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. haaretz

Not only does the fact that an Israeli is killed in the early clashes show that there are so many Israeli's there in the capital that they might easily be hit in crossfire, the Jerusalem Post shows Israel's incredibly strong connection to Kazakhstan,

That nondescript statement adequately reflects what Israel hopes to see in Kazakhstan and how it hopes things play out: that stability returns, that the government is not overthrown and that relations between the two countries continue in the positive direction they have been moving since Kazakhstan became independent and established ties with Israel after the collapse of the Soviet Union 30 years ago. For that reason, the apparent return to calm on Sunday in Almaty was welcomed in Jerusalem.

One of the reasons that the Foreign Ministry’s statement was void of any value judgments is because it is not yet clear who was behind the outburst of violence or whose interests it served.

Israel’s relationship with Kazakhstan was a win-win for both sides. Israel would get oil from Kazakhstan – at one time it provided an estimated one-quarter of Israel’s oil needs – and a relationship with a moderate Muslim state that was interested in promoting dialogue.Consider what happened to ties with Iran, which until the fall of the Shah in 1979 was a close friend of Israel, and to relations with Turkey, a strategic ally until Recep Tayyip Erdogan won elections there in 2002 and sent Israel-Turkish relations into a tailspin. jpost

It is highly likely everything worthy of being known, is known by Israel. If Israel needs Kazakhstan, and if Russia now has effective control of it, then Israel needs now to respect that power of Russia more.

Even before Russia moved troops into Kazakhstan, so real and present is Russia's power in the Middle east now that Israeli's ask: Russia or the West: Which Should Israel Choose? Jerusalem has forged a unique path in international relations in recent years. It does not confront Moscow publicly on the Ukrainian issue and refrains from joining Western collective punitive measures against Russia (sanctions, political isolation and deportation of spies). But, on the other hand, the West also shows an understanding of Israel’s need to talk to the Kremlin, especially considering the neighborly relations between Israel and Russia following Moscow’s military intervention in the 2015 civil war in Syria.Israel-Russia relations are at an all-time high, having developed considerably since the Soviet period. Russia allows Israel military freedom of action against Iran and its proxies in Syria. While the United States is focused on the Chinese threat, it is withdrawing from the Middle East. As a result, it suffers from an image of weakness among the region’s players.

Surely the writer could have no idea of how this situation has fulfilled prophecy!

Then to establish all events in the world are about Jerusalem, The current Kazakh crisis was likely in part at least to prevent Putin having power over Ukraine. But we expect that Russia will have power over Ukraine the Key to Europe, because Gog prince of Rosh is described as being of Magog which is an area including Ukraine the historic centre of the Rus. Consider these events are playing out just as Ukraine is to move it embassy to Jerusalem and both its president and prime minster are Jewish.

Ukraine’s Israel envoy said his country will open a branch of its embassy in Jerusalem in the coming year. Speaking Thursday evening at the Kyiv Jewish Forum, an online event marking three decades of Israel-Ukraine ties, Yevgen Korniychuk, Ukraine’s ambassador to Israel, referred to Jerusalem as Israel’s “one and only capital.”

In attendance were, among other dignitaries, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and several Ukrainian and Israeli government ministers and world Jewish leaders. Jerusalem Affairs Minister Ze’ev Elkin, who hails from Ukraine, expressed his hope that the eastern European country would open an embassy branch in the Israeli capital. He made his remarks and gave Korniychuk a 2,700-year-old artifact bearing the word “Jerusalem” in Hebrew immediately before Korniychuk spoke. The embassy’s Jerusalem branch will be responsible for promoting bilateral trade and technological ties. unitedwithisrael

Just as Israel has power over Ukraine, we expect soon that Russia will have power over it so Gog the prince of Rosh is of Magog. We don't know how this may happen, as the matter is still opaque, but Germany willingness to use Russian gas and ally with Iran while not wishing for military conflict may be a key to how it plays out.

Germany's Surrender To The Greens Forced A Second Surrender To Russia

Since the American loss in Kasakhstan to Russia, the Americans are now "pessimistic" as NATO Prepared For "New Armed Conflict In Europe" With Russia If Talks Fail

That there may be some mutual good will between to Israel and Russia, would fit the prophecy, as we are told that, it is an 'evil thought' of Gog's to invade Israel,

After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: (Ezekiel 38:8,10)

We live in fascinating times, as almost weekly we see events playing out not by the playbook of the powers, but Yahweh Elohim's playbook given to us in prophecy, events leading to the king of Israel ruling the Kingdom of God.

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.(Psalm 103:19)
For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations. (Psalm 22:28)
