After much heartache at loss, we can rejoice that by miracle, Yahweh Elohim gives some another chance. It was in their heart for evil but God meant it for good.
Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy. (Prov 12:20)
There are some whose heart is to do evil.
But there was a little six year old girl who warned all, a plumber who by chance had strength to remove the attacker, and the knowledge to right the plane. An Indian pilot who managed to open the door.
The airline worried that the run might be longer than needed due to delay in the air, ironically due to the evil of Iran, so there are fresh pair of pilots who also had the skills to take in a damaged plane to land. There was a dentist who knew enough to bind wounds, the skill was needed and at hand. The attack began high enough that they had room to fall.
One Business man
A frequent traveler, he had identified them before he had any reason to think he would need their help. “I had to shake them to get them to move to the front and take control of the plane, because it was diving,” he had told The Jerusalem Post in our initial exchange.
The additional pilots had remained in the cabin and, in his description, appeared frozen.
He shouted for them to move forward and take control. He then had to shake them, he said. One ultimately took control of the aircraft; the other took longer to recover from the shock.
An Israeli dentist, meanwhile, was treating the wounded pilot. Tal described the injuries as grave and credited the dentist with saving the man’s life. As he reconstructed the emergency, the dentist’s intervention figured alongside the passengers’ struggle and the effort to get the additional pilots forward. Different people had taken responsibility for different parts of a crisis unfolding within a few meters.

Trump marvels at plumber who pulled flydubai plane out of dive
‘Tell Trump that I love him,’ Israeli Flydubai hero tells Netanyahu
Hayoun apologized for meeting Netanyahu while his clothes were still covered in blood.
“It’s an honor to meet you this way. How did you do it?” Netanyahu replied.
“We are a nation of lions,” Hayoun said.
Netanyahu embraced him and responded: “I see you and I see a lion. You are a great hero.”
Hayoun said he and another passenger forced their way into the cockpit after hearing someone scream and the lights went out. Inside, they found the wounded pilot and the attacker. “I grabbed the terrorist, choked him, and pulled him away from there,” Hayoun said.
As two other passengers helped restrain the attacker, Hayoun said he pulled back on the controls while the aircraft’s nose was pointed downward. “I stopped the plane from diving.”
Hayoun said he learned how to control an aircraft from watching the documentary series “Mayday.”worldisraelnews
But there is more: Flydubai plane neared speed of sound during terrorist’s attempt to crash it
subjected to forces beyond its normal operating limits.. 0.96, just below Mach 1.0, the speed of sound. A Boeing 737 MAX normally operates below its maximum high-altitude speed of Mach 0.82.. aircraft experienced an estimated three G’s as it returned to level flight,..The Boeing 737 MAX has a maximum positive limit of 2.5 G’s, a level that would not normally be approached during commercial operations..The aircraft also suffered damage, including to its rudder.
And yet the plane was safely landed.
Why four pilots were aboard flydubai flight when the attempted hijacking began
The additional pilots were added to the flight because possible regional rerouting could extend the journey and push the original crew beyond permitted duty hours. “If something happened over Kuwait and they told you to reroute, then you’re putting one hour, two hours extra on the flight,”
There might be more questions – but ours is not how it could happen – as Yahweh Elohim knows that, but ours in to understand the miracle. The doubters will say – oh, brave people. Yes there were people who could act - yet one of the 2nd set of pilots was frozen into in-action. The brave actions weren't normal.
We might ask why Yahweh Elohim allows such things- why wasn't the evil averted before? It may well, by miracle, that it often happens, and we don't see it. Many an attack is stopped.
But this is the point. The miracles of the survivors of Hamas captivity, was before the nations. We again have another miracle before all the nations. Others were not given such a miracle. Planes have vanished with all on board. An Air India flight recently had only one survivor.
So – why? It was a time of rejoicing for Jews, of dwelling under the heavens. A time of calling for salvation.
On Simchat Torah we will sing: Hoshea et amecha (save your nation) barech et nachaltecha (bless your inheritance). In the wake of this incredible miracle, let us all lift up our voices together as we thank God not only for saving us from a terrifying terrorist attack but for letting the inspiring strength and beauty of the Jewish people light up the world once again.
Anyone who thinks honestly may know it was a miracle. If there had been no danger there is no great rejoicing. If there is no testing - there is no great faith. Every person on that plane, has a new life.
And there is more, Yahweh Elohims has a rich sense of humour- let us take and make a hero in Israel, the most despised of Jews - in Isarel - yes, a plumber who deals with you got it - human waste! Until recently Jews in Israel, like their counterparts elsewhere, tended to avoid taking building and manual labour jobs.
Is the great one a Torah scholar? - no! a plumber. As Israel is to build they need more Jewish plumbers! Imagine the Elohim offering suggestions, until the most despised profession is found... to make a hero. (1 Kings 22)
All the nations may wonder at the miracle and those that hate, will hate Israel even more.
Because it is so clear Israelis – above ever nation- are blessed with strong people who act together as a family, as a team, in an emergency- and indeed blessed are you also if you are with them. Yes, the Indian pilot saved their lives, but they saved his also. They and Yahweh Elohim saved his. Ironically they even saved the life of the Omani terrorist co-pilot. Gone is his blessed oblivion, the one he cried for, now comes the horror of a life of cursing and failure.
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. (Genesis 50:20)
