Dreyfus: No Solution to Jew Hatred, Anti Semitism

6th May 2026, hej

A Jewish nation was to be the solution to Jew Hatred. The descendant of Alfred Dreyfus, is now the same rank as his ancestor – in the Israeli army – against a backdrop of increased global anti-Semitism. Does Jew-hating Hungary have an answer to the problem?

And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: (Deuteronomy 28:65)

There might be much despair.

91% of American Jews say they feel less safe as a Jewish person in the United States due to violent attacks in the past year including the burning of a Jewish governor’s home, the firebombing of Jews in Boulder, CO, and the murders at the Capital Jewish Museum.

The UK Prime Minister’s remarks at No10 Tackling Antisemitism Forum: 5 May 2026, coincides with the Australian Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.

It seems that a Jewish nation didn't solve the problem revealed by the Dreyfus incident that caused Theodor Herzl to plan for a Jewish state 130 years ago. Some might argue, actually, that the current issue affecting diaspora is due to the Jewish nation of Israel. But the fundamental issue is still objection to God's witnesses as - ironically, the Jewish state fulfilling Bible prophecy caused even greater hatred – if possible - than Jews wandering in fulfilment of Bible prophecy.

The New Dreyfus

The new Dreyfus generation in Israel is perhaps more hated than even the old, but they are stronger.

A military court judge in Judea and Samaria promoted a descendant of Alfred Dreyfus to the rank of lieutenant colonel – the same rank held by his ancestor.

“Today..I feel that the ranks that were then torn in disgrace are now being proudly sewn anew, on the uniform of the Israel Defense Forces and within the system of belief in the administration of justice in the sovereign Jewish state.”

Following October 7, he said, “The last few years have been the hardest in our lives. We have lost friends, subordinates, and commanders. In this pain..We will survive and win the battles because we have no other country and no other army.” unitedwithisrael

The descendant of Dreyfus lives and thrives in a Jewish nation where he can be Jewish.

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. (Isaiah 43:10)

All evidence of all of written history is that Deuteronomy has been fulfilled. It's been fulfilled by those who don't understand the Bible, by Cain-like people. All evidence is that Cain hated Abel. It wasn't rational Cain hated Abel. Cain, rather than rationally disagreeing or by winning his point by logic, or submitting to peace rather chose to kill. It didn't work out well.

For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him. (Acts 13:27)

Are we reasonable?

In a reasonable world one would expect that rational people might agree to disagree. But the world is not rational. It is not reasonable. The absolute majority of people will love themselves and hate the God of the Bible. Or they think they love God but might envy. Envy never looks pretty.

But perhaps the secular Jew ever since Herzl has missed the point. Even God can't change hearts. Rational argument won't change hearts.

Perhaps the answer, without God under the sun is more God. Let me explain:

Hungary

The safest country in Europe for Jews has a new government

Budapest may be the only European capital city you can walk through without seeing any anti-Israel graffiti. There are no furious demonstrators waving Palestinian flags and chanting "From the river to the sea" and no worries about possible harassment on the streets or at university campuses.

Nobody cares if you wear a kippah or tzitzit. No one cares if you speak Hebrew in public. There is little to no police presence around Jewish establishments. Paradoxically, this safety exists with the context of one of the highest levels of antisemitic beliefs in Europe.

According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), around 35 percent of Hungarians still believe traditional antisemitic stereotypes such as that Jews are money-grubbing by nature, control the government and media, and are more loyal to Israel than to their own country. That’s more than three times the level of these beliefs in Australia, according to Crossroads25.

these negative feelings hardly ever translate into violent actions.

For the past 16 years, Hungarians have had a political regime deeply sympathetic to Israel’s right and outspoken against antisemitism... Police forbade pro-Palestinian demonstrations intending to prevent, they claimed, threats to public order.

There has been, and will continue to be zero tolerance against antisemitism, he (Magyar) said. thejewishindependent

What if the answer was always plain simple law enforcement? God-ly respect of a just authority?

Jewish Australian says police told him Jew-hatred case was ‘wasted effort’

Woefully inadequate’ plea deal, with just a year in jail, for man who killed elderly Jew in LA

There is the difference. Hungary, zero tolerance – everywhere else tolerance to crime.

Jews never needed that Jew hatred is repressed, or educated out, only that Authority has zero tolerance to any disturbance of peace.

In peace, Jews (and everyone) have Peace

We can go to the Roman Empire. How did they maintain peace?

Zero Tolerance to mess! Hear the town clerk of Ephesus to the mob!

But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly. For we are in danger to be called in question for this day's uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse. (Acts 19:39-40)

What about the American experiment? The Rudi Juliani clean up of New York was zero tolerance from no graffiti no minor damage level of anti violence, and that worked in reducing all crime.

In the Australian Greg Sheridan's opinion is “Bibi’s neglect of world opinion on Iran is a self-inflicted wound for Israel,”

Sadly, conflict in the Middle East seems, in Australia as in many Western nations, to turn prejudice into hatred, and hatred into violence.

But all history shows, there is no necessity that hatred becomes violence. Australia saw a failure of law and order.

Australian police did no threat assessment before Bondi attack, inquiry hears and denied a request from the Jewish community to station officers there

Australia spy chief says Jew-hatred was left unchecked after Gaza war began. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was behind at least two antisemitic attacks, Australia’s national security agency found.

As Hungary shows, as the Romans showed, the populace may be as prejudiced as they wish but no one is violent. What many 'Western' nations have done is to become permissive.

A permissive 'West' freed protest from being civil. They allowed it to become uncivil, accepting actual damage from graffiti, to demolished statues and fire bombs. They have allowed violence as protest.

But Hungary has a history that might teach yet more. Socinianism in Hungary and Poland was closely linked to the 16th-century Radical Reformation, emphasising rationalist, non-Trinitarian theology and sharing roots with the Polish Brethren. Socinians argued for all authority and governance to allow all to form their own belief, and that none be killed for their belief.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (1 Peter 3:15)

Law and order isn't that we all agree, or that we hold no zealous-prejudice, but that we at all times are civil and at no time violent.

Woe to the violent, and any Authority or Government that allows violence, respect of persons or false accusation to prosper.

Then said Jesus unto him, “Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” (Matthew 26:52)

There is no solution to envy and hate, but what if there is good leadership and civil discipline?

That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets. Happy is that people, that is in such a case:
yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD. (Psalm 144:14-15)

In any case – the day soon comes… of peace by Israel.

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles (nations), that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. (Isaiah 49:6)
