Its highly likely that without the flood and fire and some dispute about gender, COP 30 would be without note, except for having no outcome. Being of note, I noticed a commentary on events for Christians – from Paul.

I follow a centuries old Bible reading plan, but it's been commenting on events. Science.
When the gender issues arose it is revealed that the Vatican is there at COP 30. What climate does the Vatican have? Is it an Island? Is it a nation? Paul speaks of those 'falling away' who, sit in the temple of God, corrupted by power, as a mystery of iniquity.
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. We have to be sure we do not believe a lie- that we are not ever deluded, that we are not of those who have fallen away.

If it's sequestered naturally in ocean and land – then what is the fear? If it's not, then the matter is a delusion of the scale of human power, a lie.
In any case there can be no urgency if the leaders, as supposed believers, will not modify their behaviour – how many private jets was that again? They build a road in the rainforest? I have an ancestor who saw the corruption of the Church leaders in the 1520s. He moved to a town, slaved as a butcher so his sons could learn the Bible to replace the corrupt clergy. The humblest look at the hypocrisy and reject these people as leaders.
We pray that we may be delivered from the evil of the policy of the corrupt and those who believe a delusion or a lie.
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. (2 Thess 3:2)'
We are told to investigate and prove matters:
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1Thess 5:16-21)
This is the search for truth. I did so- I doubt any who speak fair words for gain have read even the offical the summary of the research- it's not even remotely alarming, but it does show that Clouds affect the climate much more than CO2. Clouds are water vapour. The relationship between water vapour and CO2 is unknown, and the curious behavior of water vapour makes all other understandings troubling- last report had about 500 pages on the summary of research as to why they don't and can't understand the other climate factors, such as water vapour.
What are they doing at COP 30? Do they do anything of use? Where is the money for them to eat from? What are words?

There is no down side at all to knowing the God of the Bible – even many atheists have had their lives enriched by objecting to the God of the Bible! There appears always tribulation and conflicts to those who hate God, as their way is confused- they are their own judgment.
The British who having a cold climate have a government and monarchy lead by those thinking the world needs to be colder, have been troubled by early snow in a manifestation of the Al Gore effect. But this conference has been troubled, and life made inconvenient also by 'climate', by rain ... which may have led to the fire.

The great flood has been and gone and we have the rainbow to say it will never be again, but let us not be those of pride. The Bible speaks many times of the fire of war and earthquake - may we escape that last great fire of vengeance.
