In analysis though 20 years have passed we have not seen our “New Castles”, our abiding places. Yet the events since 1989 have confirmed how East and West Europe has step by step united as the 2 feet of Daniel's image. The unity we see now has never occurred previously in Europe's history. To add to the picture of the standing of Daniel's image Germany is now an essential trading partner with Iraq (Persia). An inconceivable relationship before 1989. Russia, the inheritor of the Byzantine Empire, is using its resources to move the United States out of a United Europe.
When the walls of the Worker's Club fell, killing 9, in Newcastle on 28 December 1989, the socialist world's castle had fallen in Europe and was marginalised elsewhere. Underlining the point, on the day of the earthquake there was a worker's strike by local bus drivers, and, the earthquake struck in the middle of an interview by local television station with a union representative. Nine is one less than the minimum for the salvation of a city (Genesis 18:32). There was no saving the Communist worker's revolution. There was to be a new- castle.
Some other points to ponder. The earthquake in 1989 caused much damage on Beaumont Street Hamilton. Beaumont is from French, “lovely/beautiful mountain”. Hamilton is derived from "hamell," meaning "treeless hill" or "home"+" dun," which means "settlement" or "fortified place". There 3 died, where 3 signifies a period of trial or the number for witness. The way of the lovely mountain of the hill fortified home was to be a place for the trial, or witness, to the nations. The year 1989 saw the opening for preaching the gospel without fear behind what was the Iron Curtain. Yeshua spoke of his message going forth as,
Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; (Luke 3:5)
But can an earthquake speak of political events? The experts still have no scientific explanation for this 1989 quake in Newcastle, Australia. We can rationalise why there was damage, but it only seriously affected 2 locations, both bearing names of fortified places. It only seriously affected 2 places a Worker's Club and street or way called the Lovely Mountain. And the year 1989 was about 2 things the end of the worker's revolution and the opening of the way for the Lovely and Beautiful Mountain.
Moses spoke of the lovely Mountain, or as beau means the goodly mountain, which he saw as part of the Promised land.
O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to show thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon. (Deuteronomy 3:24-25)
Also Psalm 78:54 the sanctuary in Israel is called 'the mountain his right hand has purchased” Those that possess the land inherit Yahweh Elohims' Holy mountain” Isaiah 57:13
Daniel speaks of those who try to claim the glorious holy mountain in the latter days,
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. (Daniel 11:45).
In 1989, as no other year, begun the preparation in Europe for the return to power of the system that sat on seven mountains that is now trying to with its politics destroy the way of the glorious mountain. But yet the servants took note and have watched for 20 years. If, for us, the 20 years have flown swiftly, as we wait for the new castle of our mansions and the glorious mountain to be raised above the hills, in Yahweh's scheme, those same 20 years have been as a moment in time,
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2Peter 3:7-9)
We wait for the way or the street of the Lovely Mountain to be preached to all who have ears to hear. But we may not have to wait much longer for our new castles. It is to this generation that has seen great and momentous events that Yeshua said,
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh. (Luke 21:28)

Over all of history the servants of God have known the signs of the times: their times. They have seen the direction of events toward the Kingdom of God on earth replacing the kingdoms, republics and democracies of humans.

As I was thinking to write this article, having just read Psalm 46 as I do each year on that day, on January 25th a Bible was found untouched after a tornado hit Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
We have been given many time periods to prophetic events in the Bible. Many people think it too hard, and do not make an effort to understand them. However, if they were not to be understood, why were they given? And the Bible says the wise shall understand (Daniel 12:10).
On the 15th December 2010 was announced a Roman statue from a bathhouse had been unearthed by storms in the Mediterranean,
Standing 1.2 meters (4 feet) tall, the statue was found in the remains of a cliff that had crumbled under the gale-force winds. Discovered near the ancient port after the tides had returned to normal, an official with the Israel Antiquities Authority said the statue will be displayed in various museums.
Dated to approximately 1,800 to 2,000 years ago – the period in which the Romans occupied western Judea -- the statue weighed 200 kg (440 lb) and had no head or arms.
“The sea gave us this amazing statue,” Yigal Israeli, a researcher with the Israel Antiquities Authority told the Reuters news service. He added that other artifacts may have washed out into the ocean due to the same storm, however.
