Jews, Gentiles & the Olive Tree

2nd March 2025, mgh

1) The Olive Tree

As we see the rise of anti semitism in many countries daily in the protests, it alerts us to to Romans 11 where the Apostle Paul uses the combination of the Old testament and Yeshua’s Prophecy in Luke 21 and the times of the Gentiles.

Paul explains that he is the apostle to the Gentiles but he also believes the Jews are worthy of salvation if they believe the promises to Abraham and accept Y’shua as their Messiah. Paul points out that the Gentiles can be cast out if they become blinded, also Gentiles and Jews have the same foundations in the promises to Abraham/

5] For if the casting away of the Jews be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

16] For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17] And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being an wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree’s natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

22] Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. [23] And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. 24] For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed in contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

25] For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Romans 11:13-25

These conditions would prevail the time of the Gentliles and the Jews were fulfilled.

That is the Latter days as in Y shua’s Prophecy, both Jews and gentiles are heading to the same time frame, for the final, outcome., and the coming of their Messiah

When the reference is made the Gentiles to the times of the Gentiles being fulfilled in both both Luke 21 and Romans 11 it seems that the latter days will bring the time of both the Jews and the Christians to fruition and fulfillment
